We are pleased to share our lovely customer’s news with you. You can now buy take away Bodiam Ice Cream at their own take away shop.
Rob and his family have been making handmade ice cream for a number of years using all natural ingredients, Bodiam Ice Cream source the double cream locally and use the finest ingredients. Making their ice cream high quality and luxurious. Rob uses our Alphonso Mango Puree to make a fabulous Sorbet with just added sugar, lemon juice & water. A suitable option for dairy free or vegans.
Bodam Ice Cream has around 17 different ice cream flavours on the menu, they also make a special every week. Available in 125 ml generous single serve pots and 500ml take home pots – that’s 5 scoops measuring approx ½ a cup per scoop, so plenty for the family dessert, although certainly in my house it is rare that there is any left in the pot for another day ! 🙂
During my social distance meeting with Rob today it was bright sunny cold and windy, this did not deter the customers driving in to the car park to collect their ice cream to take home, most of which were regular customers. It has also been a hit with the neighbours many of which stop by for a take away ice cream on the way home from school.
Moving forward when the Covid 19 rules allow for hospitality to open Rob plans to get some picnic benches outside and will be able to offer ice cream in cones instead of just in pots, he is also considering expanding his offering maybe milkshakes & coffee.
Bodiam Ice Cream is ideally situated for a quick stop off if you are planning a trip to Hastings travelling via the A21. Based at the newly built Flimwell Village Hall, on the new housing close, Corner Farm Close, TN5 7FE. Just passed the Flimwell lights on the A21. At the moment they are open 10-3 pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
